Full Doula Services provided by DTI trained doula, Regina Brandao-Haynes. Doula is a woman who provides non-medical emotional, physical, and informational support to a mother and her partner in the months leading up to the birth of her baby and during the actual birth itself. Doulas work in hospital and home birth settings and provide support for medicated, non-medicated, vaginal, cesarean section, spontaneous, scheduled induction births. With full doula services you will receive: -2 one hour visits to discuss what the mothers birth preferences are and desired comfort measures during labor. - 24/7 availability beginning 2 weeks prior to a woman's due date and 2 weeks post due date. - constant presence with mother and mothers partner from beginning of labor until baby has latched at mothers breast. - 1 postpartum visit within the first two weeks.
