A $250 gift underwrites this spring’s student musical, Little Shop of Horrors, which runs March 9-12. With our new portable stage, Mid-Pen is committed to staging one musical a year, in addition to a straight play in the fall. With a music director, more elaborate sets and costumes, and higher royalties, musicals are often twice as expensive as straight plays to produce. Ten gifts at this level will defray the additional cost.
