Goodsport by Sally Lowe is a line of artisan made jewelry featuring antique buttons and medallions set in contemporary settings featuring hand knotted and crocheted necklaces with semi-precious stones and fresh water pearls.

About the artist: 

"A love of art and horses have been a constant in my life since I was a young girl. Growing up in the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia was a great place for someone with my passions. I began fox hunting in my early teens and still hunt today with Deep Run Hunt in Manakin-Sabot, Virginia.

I receive an MFA from VCU in 1986 but then quickly got caught up in the world of business and starting a family. Both my art and riding went on the back burner for nearly a decade. Then about ten years ago I started experimenting with jewelry. I wanted to make something that was pretty to look at and easy to wear at the same time. It had to be durable enough to be worn in and around the barn and still look good if I went out a night.

This was the beginning of GoodSport and the creation of jewelry inspired by my love of horses, hounds and the outdoor life. "
