Description
Bring your family and friends, (up to 6 people total), rafting down the South Fork of the American River! Raft guide and Strandwood parent, Shanna Holden, will guide you and your guests down the river section best suited to you: do you want to do a float where you don’t have to do the work (you get rowed downriver) and can bring any age? Or do you want the excitement of roaring rapids and being part of the team that paddles the boat down the river? We can discuss the type of raft rig (oar frame or paddle), the level of the river run, and its excitement when you win this item: will you go through Old Scary & float under the 49 bridge looking for swallows and black berries, or paddle through Hospital Bar and Satan's Cesspool? Use by December 31, 2017. Set the date before school ends so we know we can both go. Bring water bottles, sunscreen, sunglasses, watershoes, and lunch. The South Fork is about 2 hours from Strandwood, running the river can take 4-6 hours. Let’s go BOATING!
