Collaborative and Colorful Stool Mrs. Tyler’s 2nd graders used the art elements of line, color and repeating patterns to create this wonderfully distinctive art piece! The students began by decorating their own individual mandala aka circular pattern on the top portion of a stool. They then collaboratively decorated the legs of the stool in a variety of repeating patterns. The stool has a black base that adds to the color pop of the unique designs created by the second graders. Acrylic paint pens in a variety of bright colors were used to create this intriguing piece. The students signed their names underneath the seat of the stool as a fun way to commemorate this great group of students that happily shared their second grade school year with Mrs. Tyler. This sturdy stool can be used as a seat, a plant holder or cheerfully displayed as an art piece in just about any home!
