Artist & Jewelry designer, Paula James-Nailor started NY1400 Jewelry Designs in 2014. Paula is an abstract mixed-media artist and emerging jewelry designer that has expanded her medium to semi-precious gemstones, pearls, leather and metals to create unique pieces of wearable art. Most recently she has added sterling silver to her collection and uses the ancient lost wax method to create pendants, rings and earrings. Notably, she has studied Art at the famous Arts Students League in NY and Jewelry Fabrication at FIT in NY. She sources her gemstones and found objects for her jewelry designs globally to create unique one-of-a-kind pieces of wearable art.
