This is the modern and sleek Concava Twist Pen, so named for its unusual concave profile in  the upper half of the pen.  It is made of burl maple that has been dyed purple. It has chrome hardware and combines a modern aesthetic with the warmth of the burl maple wood. It measures 13.5 cm or just over 5.5 inches in length. The pen was hand crafted by John Baker on a lathe and finished with repeated thin coats of cyanoacrylate resulting in an extremely durable sheen. It comes in its own velveteen draw string pouch. It comes with an unmarked ink cartride and takes easily obtained Cross R style Refills (.12" x 4 9/16").
