About the Artist- Thyra Rutter studied art at the prestigious Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles California. Her work is owned in private and public collections. In 2015 she started Arte for Elephants, a for profit enterprise that raises funds for elephant sanctuaries around the world. To date Arte for Elephants has donated over $19,000 to charities supporting both wild and captive elephants.
