The Baum School of Art is a non-profit community art school located in center city Allentown. It has enriched the lives of thousands of adults and children throughout the Lehigh Valley for the past 83 years.  The School is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Pre-collegiate Art Schools and is a member of the National Guild of Community Schools of the Arts.  The student body consists of people from all aspects of the community: from preschool age to senior citizens.

The school contains nine classrooms, a black and white photography darkroom, computer lab, metalsmithing studio, ceramics studio, gallery, reception area and other spaces including the Charles C. Dent Sculpture Garden.

Classes and workshops are available during weekday mornings, afternoon and evenings for adults, and Saturdays or after school for children. These include computer graphics, sculpture, drawing, painting, jewelry and metalsmithing, photography, illustration, fashion design, watercolor, patternmaking, ceramics, figure studies and more!
