Jan Brett signed a poster from her most recent book, Gingerbread Christmas.

Once again Matti opens the oven door and this time gingerbread musical instruments come dancing out...playing a tune.  The Gingerbread Baby becomes the band leader and is center stage at the village, stirring up Christmas fun and dancing.  When a clever child points out the musical instruments smell delicious and look a lot like cookies, a great chase ensues and the Gingerbread Baby, true to form, confounds and surprises everyone, everyone except the observant reader, who might just discover him in the branches of the big fold out Christmas tree.
