Description

Experience the sights and sounds of the Emerald Isles and Scottish Highlands in the beautiful Pocono Mountains. Join us Memorial Day weekend for non-stop Celtic music on two stages, foot stomping bagpipers from the MacKay Pipe Band, Celtic jam, working sheep dogs, Irish step dancers and a variety of Celtic craft and food vendors.

Kirk McLeod from the band Seven Nations has launched the KIR Project and will perform at the Shawnee Celtic Festival. Kirk McLeod from the band Seven Nations has launched the KIR Project. The KIR Project was created to bring certain aspects of the Celtic community together in a fully integrated show. The show will feature local pipe bands, drummers and dance organizations performing on one stage. Come celebrate our heritage and traditions through music and dance.

Don't forget about the kids! There will be a Celtic Wizard magic show, leprechaun juggling show, face painting and a Celtic Farm animal petting zoo.

Our Celtic Festival vendors will serve up Irish themed food including Bangers and Mash, Jameson’s beef on weck, fish and chips, Celtic Corned Beef Wraps and the delicious Ca-Rollin food truck featuring authentic Irish eats like Shepherd’s Pie, beer battered fish and chips, Ulster Fry in a hoagie, Donegal shrimp salad and more. Ca-Rollin and Chef Rob Catering were crowd favorites at the Pocono Food Truck Festival last season and we are excited to have them back for the Shawnee Celtic Festival.
