This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see how science is really done at an internationally recognized university research lab; ranked #1 in the USA and top 5 in the world!
Come learn about how the brain of a fruit fly can help us understand how our own brain works! You will see cutting-edge virtual reality flight simulators for flies that help us learn about the genes, neurons and circuits in the brain that contribute to multi-sensory integration and behavior.
The lucky winner will get a hands-on tour of the UCLA Frye Laboratory, to see various high-tech gizmos used to study visual and olfactory sensory behavior of nature's ultimate flying machine, the fly!

Must be used during the week of July 17, 2017. Tour is approximately 1.5-2 hours long; one hour in the lab and up to one hour for a campus stroll, time permitting. No transfers, exchanges or refunds.
