About Team Tigers Taekwondo Academy:

Taekwondo is a Korean martial art which has been an official Olympic sport since the 2000 Sydney Olympics. The most recognizable characteristics of Taekwondo is seen in many amazing kicking techniques but it's real strength lies on generating power from speed and using movement to find openings in an opponent. 

The ultimate goal of any traditional martial arts is to develop one's character through training all aspects of the martial arts physical, mental and spiritual. Team Tigers Taekwondo Academy emphasizes those values in their classes and their mission is to teach Taekwondo with high standards for all ages and develop future generations in the "Art of Kicking" in hopes that they too will pass down the love and respect for Taekwondo. 

The school focuses on teaching students "functional techniques and skills" that are applied to not only the sport side of Taekwondo but as a self defense system.
