From Designer: My wine stoppers are made in my studio in small batches. Once I have glazed the ceramic top, it is decorated with a decal made of my original artwork. All of the artwork and decal production is done in-studio. The decal process I use enables me to produce high resolution, kiln fired and exceptionally durable one-of-a-kind finished products. This is not a sublimation product with fading and wear issues. The decal is made from ceramic pigments and fires at 1600+ degrees Fahrenheit, becoming a part of the glaze surface. The artwork on my mugs WILL NOT FADE even if left a lifetime in direct outdoor sunlight.
