Napa River Inn: Locally owned and operated since the beginning, the roots of the Inn within the Historic Napa Mill, were planted in 1884 by Captain Albert Hatt, garnering the property a Historic Hotel of America designation.  

Captain Hatt ran a shipping and merchant business along the riverfront using the mill as a warehouse for stocking supplies and wines for local vineyards. In the 1990s the Napa River Inn was erected inside the Historic Napa Mill, with an eye on conjuring elements of the past and present, with interior design inspiration coming from the renowned Sandra Blake.

Today, local owner Harry Price, often credited as a key player in the revitalization of Downtown Napa, remains ever-committed to preserving the inherent charms of the Inn's history, as he continues to evolve and enrich the hotel and its amenities to serve a modern day world.

Chappellet Vineyard invites you to experience the magic of Pritchard Hill and enjoy a tour and tasting for 6 guests.  A visit to Chappellet’s Pritchard Hill is a very special experience for our guests, affording a tranquil and authentic setting in which to taste our acclaimed wines. Our curated tasting experiences may include a tour of our iconic pyramid-shaped winery, a walking tour of our estate vineyards with their stunning views of Napa Valley’s Lake Hennessey and a tasting of our esteemed wines in our winery barrel room. 

Cuvaison:  Cuvaison wines are produced by Cuvaison Estate Wines, a family-owned Napa Valley vintner which also owns Brandlin Vineyard, a leading producer of Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel from Mount Veeder. You will have the opportunity to taste both Cuvaison and Brandlin wines during your visit in our light-filled, contemporary tasting room surrounded by waves of vineyards and stunning architecture.  Cuvaison's Carneros tasting room is surrounded by waves of rolling vineyard-covered hillsedies and views of Milliken Peak and Mount Veeder.  relax and experience Cuvaison's Carneros flight of estate grown wines, while taking in the beauty and being catered to by knowledgeable and friendly staff.  

Brandlin's 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is loaded with varietal character and nuance. With time in the glass, the wine opens up nicely, revealing pretty shades of aromatic and flavor nuances, all supported by firm, yet well-balanced mountain tannins. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2026. Wine Tasting Notes:  Deep ruby red. Blend of cinnamon and clove with black currant, cassis and black cherry fruit. Full bodied with licorice and plum, supported by an ample core of firm, yet supple, tannins characteristic of mountain-grown Cabernet. 

Chappellet 2014 Signature Chenin Blanc.  From the family that has made the variety from a three-acre block on Pritchard Hill since the 1960s, missing a few years to replant, this is such a lovely, well-composed and deliciously enjoyable wine it might induce tears of happiness, that's how good it is. Apricot, vanilla and cream surround a rounded, smooth lushness spiked in spicy nutmeg and tea.
