Between Bites Event: AN EVEN THAT CONNECTS COMMUNITIES AND SUPPORTS CHARITABLE CAUSES THROUGH FOOD-INSPIRED STORYTELLING. Between Bites bridges the delicious overlap between eating and storytelling. Food memories shape our personal experiences. Special meals become defining moments. Words fill the space between bites. We wanted to create an ongoing philanthropic forum for food-inspired storytelling, featuring six local influencers who cook, dine and chronicle their culinary lives and travels. Between Bites started over dinner, literally, as we found ourselves chatting about our collective love of food and storytelling in the fall of 2012. The idea was born to create a quarterly live literary series that would feature local media telling a personal food story that pertained to a particular theme. 

Past themes have included Ripe/Rotten, Food Firsts, Lost/Found, Inside/Outside, The Witching Hour, Food Porn and Hot/Cold. As the series has evolved, chefs, industry tastemakers and TV personalities have shared their stories to sold-out audiences at Between Bites.
