This beautiful hand cut and hand-knotted shawl is a gift from B. Mori Boutique. Some in-vogue pieces that you may see use laser cut, however, this is hand crafted and each shawl takes at least one-week to make.   The fringe is an added piece of leather that is tooled and finished impeccably for a truly unique piece that can be worn with many different outfits.  Perfect for the rodeo, but also elegant for a night out with friends.

The beautiful pearl necklace is a gift from My London Flat and features a Bridle Harness Rosettes that became popular during the Victorian Era (late 1800s, early 1900), used for decoration, as well as advertising.   It is strung on beautiful rose colored pearls, which highlight the ruby-red background of this piece.  Rosettes of this type are getting more difficult to find, making this a real treasure.

B. Mori Boutique – The World In Your Closet, origins began many moons ago, as Karina Patman began collecting textiles from all over the world in her travels.  Since returning from Bangkok, just this past fall, B. Mori Boutique has become a reality.  B. Mori, which is Karina’s own brand, featuring such items as African Wax fabric jackets, Laotian pleated silk dresses and a Hmong embroidered pants are only part of what is featured in the boutique.  In addition, B. Mori Boutique promotes several well-known designers from other parts of the world, who are just now entering the US. 

My London Flat developed over time as Suzy Smith was living in London with her family, deciding how to take her fashion and styling background to the next level.  Before returning to Houston, Suzy scoured the markets of London and Paris to create relationships with vendors that knew how to find truly unique pieces.  Overtime, Suzy has developed a reputation of creating one-of-a-kind necklaces from antique pieces, strung on a variety of pearls.
