The Silo is a new, environmentally conscious helmet that features a bio-foam liner made of E-PLA, or Expanded Polylactic Acid. This material offers a lower environmental burden, yet performs like conventional EPS foam when managing impact energy. At the end of the road, the bio-foam liner and straps can be composted, and all other components can be recycled, minimizing the environmental impact.
