Today Launa enjoys shooting "natural light lifestyle portraits" of families, new borns, children, high school seniors, pets, and pets and their people, as well as special occasions.

My life experiences have taught me that everything changes, seasons, neighborhoods, historical treasures, and people. Nothing tangible is permanent. Life is constantly in motion.
Photography allows me the gift of “stopping time” . Capturing that particular moment, person, place, in an art form. I started documenting my life, travels, my family and friends years ago. I bugged them and coached them in front of my lens and at times got a little, or a lot of, resistance. But I have to say they have all come around and thanked me for capturing and saving those moments.
