Local artist Barb Lowe literally creates these beautiful gourd vases from start to finish herself.  She often grows the gourds in her garden, hollows/cleans them out and begins hours of staining, painting, and wood-burning techniques.  Each flower, stem, petal or leaf is also made out of gourds, and hand cut or sawed before they are stained.
