This loose-leaf green tea is vacuum sealed to ensure ultimate freshness. Bi Luo Chun is a famous green tea originally grown in the Dongting mountain region near Lake Tai, Jiangsu, China. It is renowned for its delicate appearance, fruity taste, and floral aroma. Its name, literally meaning "blue snail spring", is inspired by its delicate spiral shape that resembles a snail house. For hundreds of years, Dong Ting farmers grow tea trees side by side with fruit trees, giving Bi Luo Chun its famous floral fruity aroma.
How to steep Bi Luo Chun Green Tea?
Bi Luo Chun is extremely delicate and tender, thus it should be prepared with warm water. Apply 3-4 g Bi Luo Chun tea leaves to an uncovered ceramic teapot, add 1/3 teapot of 70 - 80°C hot water and brew for 30-40 seconds, then add 2/3 teapot 60°C hot water and brew for 20-30 seconds. Bi Luo Chun can generally be brewed for up to 3 times. For optimal taste, refill around 70% full of hot water when one-third of the first brew remains.
