"Blackout Relief Beers": Photograph By Elisa Deljanin Padula (Signed)

Description
"Blackout Relief Beers" was taken in Soho, NYC during the blackout after Hurricane Sandy. It was taken of Lupe's, a popular Mexican restaurant, which opened its doors on November 1 to sell discounted drinks to locals. Their neon sign was illuminated by generator and one of the few lights seen on that portion of Sixth Avenue beyond the headlights of traffic.
Photograph is part of a permanent collection of The Museum of the City of New York. It was featured in the exhibition "Rising Waters: Photographs of Hurricane Sandy."
