Tappan Zee Exploration Aboard the “RIVERKEEPER”
Join Riverkeeper’s 36’ patrol boat for a 3 - 4 hour outing on the Tappan Zee. We will depart from Ossining and “circumnavigate” the portion of the Hudson known as the “Tappan Zee.” From Ossining, we’ll run south along the Westchester shoreline to Irvington, west to Piermont Marsh and then north again, back under the Tappan Zee bridge to Nyack, Hook Mountain, Croton Point and back to Ossining. Riverkeeper staff will be aboard to describe the past and present issues facing the Hudson River and Riverkeeper’s work on behalf of the Hudson. This will be a working patrol.
