A one-hour private lesson in East Bay or Bay Area in Latin or ballroom dancing from Ruth Caspary.
Ruth’s specialty is salsa but teaches several different styles. A private lesson is a time to focus on specific areas of the dance that students want to work on. Subjects can be patterns, footwork, lead and follow techniques, choreography, etc.
Special Instructions
NOTE: Ruth does not have her own studio, so a studio fee may be required (usually around $15).
About the Artist:
Specializing in salsa, bachata, cha-cha, rumba, cumbia and merengue, students will gain skills in social dances. Drawing from 18 years’ experience as a dance instructor of Latin and ballroom dances, Ruth Caspary has created a new teaching method that his proven to get beginners to take that first step and start hearing the beat. Students learn quickly and have fun in the process. More experienced dancers will be challenged by the emphasis on good technique while practical exercises help growing dancers truly connect to the dance on all levels.
