Description
The LIPSTICK PEN is the perfect pen and fashion accessory in one! This is truly a beautiful gem that when not in use looks just like a lipstick, perfect for on-the-go in your handbag. It easily uncaps and screws onto the end to convert into a unique, fun and stylish pen. When capped it measures about 9 cm's and uncapped 11 cm's. It comes with a black ink cartridge in the pen AND a spare one, as well as its own velveteen draw string pouch. It is hand turned and finished by John Baker on a lathe and the body is made of acrylic in "CINNAMON SWIRL" that has a gorgeous sheen and iridescence. Truly one-of-a-kind!
Special Instructions
The pens for the Wildlife SOS auction were designed and made by John Baker (mostly) and Sylvie Malenfant. They are both passionate about animal welfare and elephants in particular, recognizing that their exotic nature and size leads to their exploitation and untold suffering in captivity at the hands of humans. Wildlife SOS has done so much to help relieve their plight by providing a refuge where they can heal both emotionally and physically. Their hope is that these pens will help contribute a 'small piece of the pie' necessary for Wildlife SOS to continue with their amazing work on behalf of elephants, bears and any other animals in distress with their 24hr emergency response service.
