Description
Whether you attended the original Woodstock festival, wanted to but couldn't, or just are intrigued by the fascinating history of the 60's, you need to pay a visit to The Museum at Bethel Woods! The Museum at Bethel Woods, chartered by the Regents of the State of New York, opened to the public in June 2008. It is an immersive and captivating multi-media experience that combines film and interactive displays, text panels and artifacts to tell the story of the Sixties, housed in a beautiful LED-certified green building set back from the top of the Woodstock festival hillside.
The Museum continues to expand programming and learning opportunities each year with changing special exhibits and moving film and lecture series.
Maybe you would like to pair your visit with a concert! Some of the exciting concerts coming this summer include The Barenaked Ladies, Journey, the Doobie Brothers, and Joan Jett & the Blackhearts.
Tickets include a private tour of the grounds and museum with Kathleen Christie, Senior Director of Arts and Humanities.
