Winner’s choice of one (1) of the following original woodcuts by Karen Pellaton (1939-2009): "Dreaming Girl," 1977, woodcut in olive green ink on paper, 6 x 8 inches; or "Birds," 1981, woodcut in gray ink on paper, 8 x 6 inches.

A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, Pellaton illustrated over thirty-five books and filmstrips for children. She settled in Ossining and worked as an illustrator and designer locally, illustrating the Ossining School District Calendar for years in the 1980s and also producing countless designs for the Ossining PTA. These charming and fanciful woodcuts were her original designs she created as Christmas cards for family and friends.
