Georges Lepape, born in Paris in 1887, was a celebrated illustrator who flourished during the 1920s and ‘30s while developing a distinctive Art Deco style for illustration. He designed covers and contributed illustrations for Vogue, Vanity Fair and Harper’s Bazaar.
