Description
Dia:Beacon Riggio Galleries, Dia Art Foundation's museum, presents one of the world's most distinguished collections of contemporary art. The museum, which opened in May 2003, occupies a 300,000-square-foot former industrial building situated on the banks of the Hudson River in Beacon, New York. Here Dia presents a vast range of artworks by a focused group of some of the most significant artists of the last half century.
Included in this package are 4 admission tickets to either Dia: Beacon or Dia: Chelsea and a copy of the Dia: publication of Max Neuhaus: Times Square, Time Piece Beacon. As part of a continuing series examining key works in Dia Art Foundation's permanent collection, this book offers an in-depth look at two Max Neuhaus works, Times Square, an unmarked sound installation sited at the north end of a triangular pedestrian island in midtown Manhattan, and Time Piece Beacon, a zone of subtle sound around the perimeter and in the galleries of Dia:Beacon.
