Feb thru June - ‘The Scarf Project’ nurtures the tie between art and healing by gifting wearable art to cancer patients - bringing together a leading art museum and a top ranked cancer care provider to help patients maintain strength, dignity and beauty during the physically and emotionally challenging times. For each scarf purchased, another will be donated to a patient at the Mass General Cancer Center

May thru October - Come see Ocean Liners: Glamour, Speed and Style, the first exhibition to fully assess the design and cultural impact of the ocean liner. PEM has been actively collecting art and design related to ocean liners since at least 1870, building holdings of paintings, prints, posters and models that today number in the thousands.
