Description

A most unique and historic piece of baseball memorabilia - Full sized operational replica Schwarb-O-Meter, like the one used to track Kyle Schwarber's slugging % in games 1,2,4,6 & 7 of the 2016 World Series, subsequently shown during Game 2 on FOX with .500 and .667 displayed. Joe Buck intoned "stats in the seats" and pointed out this was the meter shown at Wrigley Field through the years.

Hand colored, signed and numbered by the creator, it also includes six blank number cards approximately 11" x 15" and a blue marker so you can start making the numbers needed for any given at bat. Approximately 40" x 27" this Shwarb-O-Meter would also make an impressive wall display when not in use. 40" x 27" is also the size of the Shawon-O-Meter that is in the Smithsonian Institution, the size of Shawon-O-Meter #2 that is on display at the Baseball Hall of Fame and the size of the Shawon-O-Meter #3 that is at the Chicago History Museum. And not to be outdone, the size of the Shawon-O-Meter #4 that was on display in the "Cubs Legends" display case under the left field bleachers at Wrigley Field.

This folding triptych  is made of white foamboard, clear Gorilla Tape and sturdy cardboard number placards. The base number is Kyle's 2016 World Series slugging % after his historic and triumphant return to the lineup after a devastating injury the third game of that year (his second). Although we used this to track Kyle's slugging %, it can easily be adapted to track any baseball metric: batting average, RBI, HRs etc (just cover the decimal point). The backside is a blank canvas for your supportive message.

Ideal for fans that want to support the Cubs and Kyle during Spring Training, regular season home, road & All-Star games etc.
