Formaggio Kitchen invites you and three of your friends to visit our store for a personal tour of our cheese aging caves.  You will see our exclusive selection of cheeses from all over Europe and the US and will have a taste of a few select wheels under the guidance of owner Ihsan Gurdal or one of our expert cheesemongers.

These cheese caves, built out of an old office deep in the nether-reaches of the basement beneath Huron Avenue, make us most proud. Constructed in 1996 (as the first of its kind in this country) with all the damp, musty, chilly characteristics of an Alpine hillside, the caves now hold our precious stock at their ideal temperature and humidity, creating both a place to age young wheels and maintain moisture in older ones.

Tours take approximately one hour and are generally available Monday through Thursday from 4pm to 7pm.
