This exciting, new production takes place beyond space and time, in the realm of King Ouf! It’s his birthday and he expects his usual gift, an execution! Things become complicated when the court astrologer predicts that the fate of the king is directly linked to the fate of the poor, young man who has been selected for execution. The result is a series of comic situations and shenanigans that will keep the audience laughing to the end, while enjoying Chabrier’s brilliant musical composition."
