Did you know that the Aquarium of the Bay holds  700,000 gallons of carefully maintained bay water, and sustains approximately 20,000 animals? From octopi to native seven-gill sharks, there are tons (literally!) of fascinating sea life to explore.  

The Aquarium is nestled in the shadow of Coit Tower and Telegraph Hill, on Fisherman’s Wharf at PIER 39, along the City’s “Walkable Waterfront.” So the Aquarium can be the first stop on a whole day of fun, or be a whole day of fun by iteslf.
