The East Bay Regional Park District has operated Ardenwood Historic Farm as a fully functioning, turn-of-the-last-century farm since 1985. The park grounds are open Tuesdays through Sundays, year round, including Labor Day and Memorial Day. Tours of the Patterson House are available Thursday-Sunday, and train rides are available ont Thursday, Friday and Sunday from April through mid-November.
