EXPLORE! DISCOVER! LEARN! A UNIQUE EXPERIENCE ABOARD AN AIRCRAFT CARRIER!! *Appropriate for campers ages 5-13 years old. *Choose a week between July 17-August 14, 2017. *Hands-on interactive exhibits of sea, air, space and life at sea in our Exploreum. *Project-based inquiry how inventions work, making and cooking with solar ovens, creating and launching straw rockets, investigating secret codes. * Explore the world of space, space travel and the future of space exploration using our portable Planetarium. *Camp often includes special presenters whose work relates to the weeks theme. Past guests include Animal Embassy, The Museum of Interesting Things, NASA astronauts, former crew members of Intrepid, and Museum experts in conservation, historical research and aviation.
Special Instructions
Register no later than May 15, 2017. Families who have participated in Camp Intrepid through school auctions/raffles within the past 2 years are not eligible this year. Families are limited to only one week of camp won through an auction/raffle, regardless of the number of auctions/raffles in multiple schools entered.
