1991 Danny Barker from the Jazz Fest Official Commemorative Cachet Series. Danny Barker was a traditionalist and helped maintain the popularization of Dixieland. The National Endowment of the Arts named Danny Barker a Jazz Master in 1991. This honor is only bestowed on a selected few, and one has to be alive to receive the honor. This cachet features a banjo cancellation , Hot pink foil spelling out Jazz (a euphemism for "hot jazz" which is what Mr Barker played), and gold foil for the Jazz Fest logo.
