Sue delights in discovering sites that reflect the natural beauty of the San Mateo Coastal communities.  Plein air painting allows her to be totally immersed in the experience . . . the fog, the son, the wind, the bird calls, and the light of the atmosphere.  Painting in constantly changing environments gives her joy.  She wishes to share that joy with the views of her art.

Sue has studied watercolor painting under the guidance of Mary Kay Jolley, Lillian Wu, Sue Matthews, Steve Curl, Robert Dvorak, and Robert Lynch.  She is a member of the Coastal Arts League, the Half Moon Bay Plein Air Painters, and the Thursday Evening Painters.
