Two Private, One Hour Guitar Lessons with Brian Waldron

Item Number: 436
Time Left: CLOSED

Description
Brian moved to Los Angeles in 2009 to pursue a Master's degree in Classical Guitar Performance at the University of Southern California under the tutelage of world famous guitarist, Scott Tennant. In addition to Tennant, Brian has also worked with several of today's leading classical guitarists including William Kanengiser, Brian Head, James Smith, Pepe Romero, Jorge Caballero, Sergio and Odair Assad, Pablo Cohen and Timothy Walker (during a stint at the Royal Acadamy of Music in London).
As an undergraduate music student at Ithaca College, Brian honed his chops as a performer in both ensemble and solo settings, giving frequent recitals throughout upstate New York.
Of his musical abilities, Brian's college guitar professor once wrote, "Brian is one of the most virtuosic guitarists I have ever come across in more than fifteen years of teaching at Ithaca College. His technical ability, sound quality and very passionate interpretations are comparable to the skills and artistry only found in a handful of today’s young professional guitarists"
Though the bulk of his training has been in classical guitar, like many guitarists he started his musical education playing pop, rock and folk. As such, he's comfortable teaching in a variety of styles, always with with an emphasis on proper technique, musicality and healthy practice routines.
He currently spends his time teaching and gigging throughout Southern California.
