Take an art field trip with Mrs. Aponte and Ms. Nordlund! On Saturday, March 25th, we will be traveling to the Dallas Arts District. We will start our trip by meeting at the downtown Plano DART station at 10:00 am. Our first stop will be at Iwasaki Tsuneo’s exhibition at the Crow Collection. Tsuneo is both an artist and scientist. We’ll have lunch at Klyde Warren Park— bring a sack lunch or buy your lunch at one of the food trucks. At 1:00 pm, we’ll head over to the DMA’s workshop with sound technician, Frank Dufour. Dufour explores how sound and music can be created from visual art. We’ll have some time at the end to walk around the museum, and we should be back at the Plano DART station around 4:45 pm.
