Over 30 Years' Worth of National Geographic Magazines

Item Number: 654
Time Left: CLOSED

Description
Up for auction is a collection of over 30 years of the iconic National Geographic Magazine, the gold standard for international photojournalism. Includes approximately 290 issues spanning January 1977 through December 2000 and over a dozen fold out maps. Read about the 1980 eruption of Mt. St. Helens, the fall of the Berlin Wall, and the looming energy crisis as they were investigated and experienced at the time. All but a few of the copies are in great condition with no tears -- meant to be read and enjoyed rather than protected as "mint", but may please collectors, too. Includes classic burgundy cases dated in gold font for each six-month set, archiving the set ready for display. Total of 48 cases occupy 116 inches of shelf space, standing 10.5" tall.
To the best of our knowledge, missing only the June 1979 and December 1994 issues.
