Description
Risa Waldt, a native Tucsonan, grew up in the desert. While horseback riding along the Rillito river, she soaked up a vision of the desert that pursued me until she began painting to express it. In 1973 she began a love affair with light, using watercolor. She loves to paint the Grand Canyon, wildlife, and historical features of Arizona.
An award-winning member of the Southern Arizona Watercolor Guild President 2003-2004 season, Risa is also a charter member of the National Museum of Women in the Arts (Washington, DC), an associate member of the National Watercolor Society and the American Watercolor Society, and an active member of the National League of Pen Women, and the Arizona Watercolor Association.

Special Instructions
Winning bidders attending Puttin' on the Dog may pick up their item at the gala, April 22nd at Loews Ventana Canyon, after 9pm. Items may be picked up after the event beginning on Tuesday, April 25th at 3450 N. Kelvin Blvd., Tucson, AZ 85716 from 10 am to 5 pm. Items not picked up by July 1st, 2017 will be forfeited.
