This is your chance to be on the scene and witness the amazing work HSSA does! Be a participant in one of our transfers from another shelter.
Animal welfare has no borders and HSSA is so fortunate to be able to provide services like transfers for our friends in Southern Arizona and beyond! Transferring animals from shelters saves lives.
By winning this package you will ride along on a transfer from another shelter to HSSA with our Chief Operations Officer, Brandy Burke. You will get to see this lifesaving work firsthand! This is a rare experience for those outside the animal welfare field.
While the experience may be harrowing at times, you will know that you were there watching lives being saved.
Special Instructions
Participant must be 18 or older. Participant must be able to participate on short notice (within one week). Participant must be able to withstand long car rides (2 hours or more), uneven ground, loud noises, and extended amounts of time with dogs, cats, or other animals. Participant should be prepared for potentially distressing or disturbing situations. Participant will have to sign a release waiver.
