A doubly vintage item with an unusual pedigree. Original Hess & Culbertson Jewelers tag on rear, a famous jeweler and manufacturer with private labeled goods from 1883 in St. Louis until the 1970s. Apparently acquired by Zales, which filed the name trademark but then let it lapse around 2000. The Laurel Mist 648 candy dish by International Silver dates from approximately 1966.
