From the photographer: "Since moving to Hawai’i from the desert Southwest I have absolutely fallen in love with the close bond between the people, the land, and the ocean; and Hawai’i’s rich cultural heritage. That bond and heritage is enshrined in the historic structures that adorn the landscape, the subject of much of my work. Most of my photos are post-processed to resemble an idealized, 19th century image in an attempt to capture the flavor of that history."
