What a find! This is a vintage print (circa 1930s), printed in France, by Lloyd Sexton, a renowned Hawaii artist. Some of his famous pieces from his floral collection can be seen at the Lloyd Sexton Gallery at the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel. This print is of "Morning Glories" and measures a large 38" x 28.5". It is in very good condition, especially considering its age, with some slight foxing. See photo.

About the artist: Lloyd Sexton, Jr., an American painter known for vivid depictions of Hawaiian landscapes and foliage, was born in Hilo, Hawaii on March 24, 1912. His father, Leo Lloyd Sexton, Sr., was a doctor, and his mother Emily Dorthea Rice Sexton came from the prominent Rice family which lived in Lihue. In 1931 Lloyd Jr. attended the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Two years later, in 1933, he had his first show of floral paintings at Boston’s prestigious Vose Galleries. During the 30’s Sexton travelled in Europe and studied at the Slade School in London. 1937 was a landmark year for Sexton, as his painting “Nanea” was accepted for exhibition at the Royal Academy in London. Returning to Hilo in 1937 Sexton focussed in figure painting and portraiture. During his long career in Hawaii he exhibited at the Grossman-Moody Gallery (1957) and had a major retrospective of his work at the Contemporary Arts Center of the Honolulu Advertiser in 1966. His father, who took up woodworking in retirement, made the frames for all of Sexton’s paintings. Lloyd Sexton died in Honolulu on March 23, 1990 one day before his seventy-eighth birthday. ~geringerart.com
