For those of you unfamiliar with this technique, thin layers of specially mixed, pigmented paint are applied with rhythmical movements over a white base layer. The result is a subtle wash of hues that allows light to pass through it, reflecting back a depth of color. The colors subtly change with the light throughout the day, and it can't help but move the spirit.
