Lily Stan Studio was created by Lily Harris inspired simply by the clothing she wished she had. Lily designs each style to be easy to wear & layer with one another as a uniform. The intent behind this ongoing collection is to create a group of garments that can be worn together interchangeably, creating a small yet extensive personal closet made up of specialty basics.

About Lily
Lily is a 2002 graduate of the Heilicher Minneapolis Jewish Day School. She is the daughter of Heilicher art specialist, Victoria Thor and freelance illustrator, Marty Harris. She attended Hopkins High School; winning Minnesota Scholastic Art Awards for her AP Drawing and Painting Portfolio.  Lily attended RISD [Rhode Island School of Design], majoring in Apparel Design. During her senior year at RISD she interned at Vera Wang. After graduating, Lily began her design career in New York at Kate Spade and moved back to Minneapolis to design children’s wear for Target for two years. Lily recently designed girls' clothing for Old Navy in San Francisco and is now a designer on the Trend Team at Gap in New York. Her Lily Stan Studio line is a freelance venture.
