Botox

Botox is a purified substance that comes from a bacterium known as botulinum toxin type A, which blocks muscular nerve signals. Botox works beneath the skin’s surface to target specific underlying facial muscles. When these muscles contract, they cause your skin to furrow and fold resulting in the appearance of wrinkles.

Dr. Capuano will inject the toxin into these muscles, temporarily reducing their activity, and smoothing out the lines they cause. This routine procedure is safe and available near you.
