The Barley House opened in Concord NH in March of 2000. It was the vision of Culinary Institute of America graduate and former brew master Brian Shea to open an upscale tavern focusing on quality food, fresh craft beer, and outstanding service. The Barley House brings together the classic elements and comfort of an Irish style pub blended with the appeal of a modern American tavern. Similar to the old pubs and taverns of Europe, The Barley House is a gathering place for friends, family, foodies, and of course – beer geeks!
Whether it is local fresh craft beer or in-house cured bacon, The Barley staff honor the tradition of hand crafted. Burgers are ground fresh daily, brisket and pork smoked over Applewood, all natural chickens brined for maximum flavor, stuffing brats and sausage. We add layers of flavor through grilling, braising, roasting, and curing & smoking. Barley House hospitality is always on display – you will feel welcome, comfortable, relaxed, and happy. Our style is simple and honest.
Recently a second Barley House has opened on the seacoast of NH in North Hampton.
